How to assess your damage?
 

Category 1 Water Loss

  • Typically comes from broken or frozen supply pipe, refrigerator ice maker hose, failed water heater, coffee maker supply line, and other similar sources.

  • Examples: Faucets, toilet tanks, drinking fountains, etc.
     

Category 2 Water Loss

  • This is water that has been used to clean something and may contain contamination’s such as food residues, detergents, bacteria and oils.

  • Examples: Dishwasher overflow, washing machine overflow, toilet overflow with urine, etc.
     

Category 3 Water Loss
  • Black Water and/or Sewage

  • Category 3 black water or sewage is grossly unsanitary and hazardous. If ingested it could cause serious illness or death.
